The Vision
Genetiques was created by sisters Beverly, Carita, Elisa, and Khadija Allen after a lifetime of being asked the same questions: “How is your hair so long and silky? What’s your secret to glowing, ageless skin?”
The truth was never a mystery to us—it was our Jamaican-born mother’s recipes and rituals, passed down and quietly used in our family for over 60 years. We never found anything on the shelves that could match those results, so we decided to make the formulas ourselves and share them beyond our home.
Every Genetiques product is consciously crafted by the Allen sisters, heavily inspired by our Jamaican heritage and rooted in real, botanical ingredients. We believe the world needs healing in many forms, and we’re here to offer luxurious, clean, natural, results-driven self-care as part of that healing.
We want people with textured hair to have products that feel luxurious and actually work.
The Name
The name Genetiques started as an inside joke. Whenever co-founder Khadija Allen was asked, “What do you use on your hair?” she’d shrug and say, “It’s just genetics.”
Yes, the Allen sisters inherited full, luxurious hair from their mother, Beverly. But the real secret behind their healthy, well-nourished hair was never that simple.
Throughout life, our hair and skin are constantly impacted by stress, environment, hormones, and everything in between—and our family has experienced all of it. What carried us through wasn’t luck, it was the recipes: carefully blended herbal formulas that helped moisturize, protect, strengthen, and re-grow our hair over time.
From those roots, we developed a full line of botanical products designed to support hair, skin, and spiritual wellness with intention and care.
